Rainfall monitoring with high spatial and temporal resolution radar technology.

This app let you know how much it rains in real time and how much it rained in the previous hours.

The network of mini weather radar is designed and developed by Remote Sensing Group (RSG) of Politecnico di Torino, in collaboration with CINFAI (Consorzio Interuniversitario per la Fisica delle Atmosfere e delle Idrosfere) and Envisens Technologies s.r.l. (EST), spinoff of Politecnico di Torino.

Functionalities:

- Visualization of rain fields in an area of 30 km from the radar.

- Visualization of the quantity of rain fallen in the area covered by a radar during the previous hour, 6 hours, 12 hours or the previous day.

- Visualization of the rainfall evolution in the last 15 minutes.

Radar positions:

Italy: Saint Pierre (Valle d’Aosta), Torino (Piemonte), Nizza Monferrato (Piemonte), Parma (Emilia-Romagna), Foggia (Puglia), Palermo (Sicilia).

Israel: Gilat, Arad
