See vegreferanse for your position. Vegreferansen retrieved from the national road data bank
VegViseren is intended for everyone who works out on the road. VegViseren obtains Norwegian road network data continuously from the national road data bank (NVDB) and is therefore always up-to-date. Only changed data is retrieved from NVDB, so there are small amounts of data transferred via the network.
Continuous info: VegViseren shows you continuous position in the form of road system reference and coordinates.
Navigation: With VegViseren you can also navigate to specific places in the road network - based on the entered road system reference or point. For example, to drive to a specific bridge.
Preferred road: Based on direction and speed, VegViseren predicts which road you are following. It will therefore not jump to nearby roads (non-planned junctions, parallel roads and the like). The preferred route can easily be overridden in the user interface.
Poor coverage: VegViseren downloads the road network in front of you as you drive. This ensures accessible and correct road reference, also in areas with poor mobile coverage. In addition, you can pre-download road network information for entire counties, so that you minimize data traffic even further.
You can evaluate VegViseren for free for a period of time, after which a license fee is charged. Contact Triona for an offer.
